Lakhmi Chand Patwari College of Education, Khekada, Baghpat

 The Lakhmi Chand Patwari College of education started in the year 2004 under self finance scheme. The college is situated in the rural area of Khekra in district Baghpat.The department strictly adheres to the norms of university and NCTE with the aim of quality sustenance. The college is presently running B. Ed., B. P. Ed. and is in the process of running M. Ed.. The college received recognition under section 2(f) of the U.G.C. act of 1956 vide its letter no. F8-374/2008(CPP-1) dated 1/1/2008. The college is headed by director Mr. Mukesh Jain and highly energetic Principal Dr. Krishna Rani Gupta. The college has a qualified staff which is 16 in number who ensure a qualitative learning. The department is successful in providing a ecofriendly environment with many facilities like well equipped labs, multipurpose hall, audio visual aid room, well maintained library, games & sports room with a view to make teaching a reflective  practice. The department attempt to provide comprehensive teaching experience to its pupil teachers through various activities on campus & off campus like co-curricular activities, scout & guide camp, excursion whole experience. The aim of the department is to enrich the students by providing them with experience building programme. The greatest challenge faced by the college is the communication problem faced by the rural students and to develop the personality of the student to meet the challenges of the present education system.
